Missionary
Do you have the religious dedication to travel to other cultures across the world spreading the word of God? As a missionary, you will gain an understanding and a respect for the cultures you visit while carrying out your mission and communicating your message to those all around you.
While traveling, you will form and cultivate relationships with locals while seeking to make a positive impact on the community. In addition to consistently checking in with your local church about your mission’s progress, you must remember to keep in good health, travel safely, and constantly uphold a sense of duty and prayer.
As a missionary, your primary purpose is to reach others from all angles of the world with the gospel’s good news through unconditional love and endearing service.
Besides possessing a servant-like will, most organizations require missionary prospects to be devout members of their congregations, sign a statement of faith agreement, and have a degree or some completed coursework in religious studies. Ministry experience is also highly recommended.
